The True Taste of Homemade Italian Pasta Sauce
Marinelli True was created because we felt there were no True Italian pasta sauces on the market. Made with Truly fresh ingredients in our own family facility we painstakingly source all ingredients and handle them with care and respect knowing that our name goes on every jar.
No other pasta sauce can compare with the quality of ingredients we use. It's all we do so we believe we are the best at it. We physically make every batch that goes out our door and as far as we know no one else can make that claim.
Like years ago each and every one of our tomatoes are hand selected, and as a result only 3 out of every 10 tomatoes make the Marinelli grade.
Each and everyday we hand select every single Onion and peel them by hand to ensure freshness.Only the most select Spanish Onions are chilled, peeled, and then diced within 20 minutes of sauteing.
We bring in fresh Garlic daily from our local suppliers daily. Every full bulb is inspected for moisture content and only those that have been properly air-dried are chosen for the next step.
Marinelli's is the only pasta sauce that uses 100% Extra Virgin Olive and has the C.O.O.C certification to prove it.
Just like all of our ingredients, we take our Basil very seriously. Everyday we wash and choose only the best leaves and add then to our sauce at the perfect moment to maximize flavour.
We gently oven toast all of our spices daily to ensure that we are maximizing the full flavour they offer. Once toasted we grind in-house prior to adding them to our sauces.

A True Italian Love Story
Marinelli was founded on the principle of paying respect to my Italian culinary heritage by creating the finest possible pasta sauce available. Everyday improving a little bit, and never compromising quality in order to save a few extra pennies. It's the belief that people do in fact notice the difference and will pay a little more for something great. That has been very gratifying and reassuring for all of us here.
We still work together everyday doing what we love and even though it's exhausting at times due to the long hours, it's those moments when we receive a phone call or email from someone going out of their way to thank us for making such a great product that makes it all worthwhile.
We understand it's not just about making money but connecting with people on a deeper level. Many people comment on how it reminds them of thier childhood and Sunday dinners at home. For me personally, Marinelli is a celebration of life.
Making sauce has been and continues to be a work in progress. We have met very interesting and wonderful people over the years of this journey and we look forward with the same hunger anticipating where it will take us.
